Hey everyone. I figured we might have the place where can we share a little about our real life selves. Obviously you don't have to participate, and you can say as little (or much) as you'd like.
My name is Alex. I'm a 4th year medical student, and I took a year off to send some time volunteering in a small community hospital in Cusco, Peru. I'm back in the US now doing rotations in various places. I've enjoyed 40k for about 15 years now, and thus have a whole boatload of my own stupid opinions concerning it. Looking forward to RPing with all of you.

My name is Adam, I live in Indiana, I like long walks...wait wrong type of bio. Anyway I work retail sales at a Subaru Dealership (I'm a little bit of a grease monkey), love sci fi/fantasy books (been reading all the WH40k canon I can get my hands on), and play PC games like BF4, Dead Island and Metro 2033 most recently. I started into the WH40k universe about 17-18 years ago with just painting figs and playing the table top game. I haven't picked up a fig since, but have been reading about it for the past 3-4 years. Also I just found my old Dark Angel Space Marine Company including tanks and dreadnought and am going to repaint them as Deathwatch members.

My name is Sean and I live in the west Florida (CST, not EST.) I'm a customer service team lead at one of AT&T's call centers and a head lifeguard, part-time. I'm also (slowly) working on my Bachelor's in English, minor History. Sci Fi and fantasy are awesome, and I've spent roughly 4 years creating a world setting for use with writing, games, etc., but have only written one short story in it.
I'm new to 40k as a whole with this as my first actual attempt at a tabletop as well.

Im AJ, 26 years old and from Ohio which is EST. Im a firefighter/EMT and that's all I have ever really done, I worked McDonalds before that so it don't count lol. Ive been playing warhammer 40k tabletop since I was 15 and been playing Dark Heresy since its initial release in 2008. Love everything about 40k and all related lore. I follow all that Dan Abnett writes. No longer play tabletop due to the addition of a family. That's about it for me.

Hi! I'm Joe, 32. I live in Nanuet, New York and work in construction. My company is currently rebuilding the subway stations in and around the ground zero site. When I'm not busting my ass at work I tend to chillax and play xbox 360 or PC games, I also watch entirely to much anime. I am a snarky, sarcastic, wise ass that enjoys making people laugh, so don't take anything I say seriously or get offended.

I'm Zach, a 20 year old Psych student at McGill University. Lived in Miami most of my life though I'm from Montreal. I've loved 40k for years, but only started to play the RPG last year and have never played the table top. Returning after a long hiatus from this wonderful site and look forward to lifelessly staring at other characters through Bruoder's gas mask.

also in our first campaign I had a tech preist refit my e-tool to make it mono, so (due to a bit of homebrew) it is now considered a mono ax

My name is Calvin. I just finished my 2nd year of college earlier today in Portland, Oregon. In my role-playing group I'm usually the GM, but when I'm a player I tend towards support characters and overly confident morons. Often both. Got into 40k when my friend started running a bunch of short-lived Dark Heresy campaigns, and the lore pulled me in. I've never played a single game of tabletop 40k, but if I did I'd play Sisters of Battle and Tau.

I'm Robert from Arizona. I signed up on my 29th birthday when I saw an ad on Reddit. I'm a college drop-out who hates his job and takes a great pleasure into slipping into fictional personalities. I like to draw and ponder on the bizarre distopian setting of WH40k. I played a lot of various 40k games but mostly have stuck with Dark Heresy and playing Sisters of Battle miniatures on a board and pretend I'm saving the galaxy from itself. I tend to play very social characters, whether they're good or bad at it, and I prefer mysteries over action, though action is always pretty cool. I have a little budding family, they're pretty cool too. The 5th Element was an amazing film.
