Hi all.
New member here. New to the community but quite familiar with pbp rpg's and roll 20. I haven't been able to GA in some time and I have a few thoughts I thought I'd put out to see if there was any interest.
Some potential options:
Warhammer fantasy role play 2nd ed
Themes focus on the fallibility of man and his society, his battle against the darkness in his soul, and the gritty struggle for existance for the common folk. It is set in the Empire, a semi-realistic facsimile of the Holy Roman Empire in (approximately) the sixteenth century. Depending on response, I may try to run The Enemy Within, one of the better campaigns ever written for the setting.
Warhammer 4th (either rogue trader or only war). I have some ideas for both of these systems, though in need of some fleshing out and development. The former would involve a vessel with at least some connection to the Imperial Navy, and be themed around exploration and a certain amount of derring do (taking my inspiration from the Aubrey-Maturin book series popularized in the film Master and Commander). The latter is the least defined at present (truth be told I'd have to read up on the system a bit). But as a historical warfare buff this is definitely a game that I find intriguing. There are more than a few very interesting real life campaigns running through my head that could serve as thematic examples.
Anyway, enough of my ramblings. Interested in any thoughts you might have.
