How exactly to the Chaos Marines stay alive 10,000 years? I know that the normal space marines won't last that long, mainly due to warfare and such but the lore always makes it seem like they have a never ending supply of Chaos Marines available for battle.

Time flows differently in the warp. What may be 10,000 years to us could perhaps only be like a hundred years inside the eye of terror.

They also have been constantly recruiting, stealing geneseeds, and artificially making more geneseed.
