"I think she'll be ok. We had the same issue with the lights and the wind here, only there was more." Struggling to find the words Sabathiel continued. "I saw somthing it started as a light then became a apparition. It's hard to explain but I think I saw a astartes fighting in battle. Before the image dissipated he fell in battle mouthing somthing I could only make part of it out. Brother Callus... dont let the ... you must bury somthing to ensure its safety. It all happend so fast" Nodding and reactivating the comm. " Dose Brother Callus ring a bell for either of you.?" Serco scratched his head. "That sounds like some odd psychic phenomena. But I don't exactly know enough about that. Nor do I know anything about this Brother Callus, but that can probably be fixed easily enough with a small amount of research. I've checked the shuttle already, if you guys are ready, come to the shuttle bay, and we can get Litany checked out on the void ship." Serco shrugged and gave an apologetic loot to the Bay Manager. "I'm so very sorry, the rest of the passengers seem to have been the source of all that wind rattling and I've just been trying to make certain that they are all right." Serco gave another shrug and let out an exhale looking at the shuttle. "Well everything looks to be in order, I'll simply be waiting over at the Bay entrance for the rest of the passengers. Thank you for your work."

"Can you stand or do you need a minute?
"I can stand." She said, and eased to her feet, using the wall for support. Litany took a moment, her vision blurred and the hallway tilted. She drew a long breath and blinked away the disorientation. A moment later she stopped to collect the kitbag and hauled it over her shoulder. The contents clinked and rattled inside.
"I'm not sure what happened but when I looked back at you I saw something. You were glowing is that normal for seers. It's your call whether or not we leave that part out ok."
The smile pressed upon her lips wavered. While she appreciated the sentiment, it invited ruin. Glowing wasn't normal, but the warp was mercurial and normal meant nothing in those tumultuous currents. It spoke of channeling more energy than sifting the waters of probability. The vision was poignant.
"What I do… what I am is dangerous. Be unsleeping in vigilance, swift in judgement, merciless in deed." Sabathiel and Serco couldn't allow her quarter because of familiarity. She was a timebomb.
"Dose Brother Callus ring a bell for either of you.?"
She shook her head. Never had she the blessing to work alongside the God Emperor's chosen and beyond the bright stars littering the Imperium's long and lustrous history, she knew little of the astartes. But the vision impressed upon Litany an urgency in their mission. "Come now. We should hurry." She lurched down the corridor.

Brother Callus cant forget that. I'll need to look into it more during out trip, should be somewhere in the archives. Sabathiel thought keeping in step with Litany. Watching her as they went out of the corner of his eye his thoughts continued to race. What about that glow? There has to be somthing to it. Was it a response to the scene that played out , the catalyst, or maybe just a response to. Sabathiel pondered this as they reached the entrance to the shuttle bay to find Serco waiting there for them.
" Everything still good here?" Sabathiel asked his tone serious and out of the ordinary for him. "Oh yea before I forget. Kneeling down and starting to dig though his pack Sabathiel produced 8 sets of manacles and a side arm with ammo. Handing them to Serco " Hopfully these work for now they didnt have much but its somthing." For a moment a flash of a smirk, then back to serious.

"So you guys have given it the once over? Is it all properly working?" He quickly took a glance at the vehicle to check it over for any flaws (Tech Use 24) and gave a quick glance to the Cog boys (Scrutiny 43). "Hmmmm...." Upon your inspection the gun cutter appears to be in operable condition with some residual battle damage on right wing as well as the aft belly section just in front of the space gap for the exit ramp to lower. The cog boys are all bustling about with no fuss and no outer indication of faults in programming. They appear to be performing their tasks to satisfaction.

Handing them to Serco " Hopfully these work for now they didnt have much but its something." For a moment a flash of a smirk, then back to serious. Serco shrugged as he accepted the Las pistol and the three Las packs. "There hasn't been anything really odd." He gave the pistol a quick once over before stowing it along with the extra manacles. "I think we should board and compare notes on the way to the void ship, don't you think? I doubt that we're the sole passengers and we're more likely than not, going to be required to board as soon as possible. With that in mind follow me." Serco started off for the shuttle with a somewhat casual pace. " I believe that we should begin doing our research as well, don't you think? It definitely will help us to have a better idea of what the political situation and all of that is on the forge world. Obviously there's a good chance that it's Adeptus Mechanicus on top..."He gave a quick nod to Gent. "... But it always pays to be more certain about this sort of thing, what with the Mechanics and their tendency to more well ordered complexity."

Litany entered the vast subterranean hangar alongside Sabathiel. The walk offered clarity despite the gnawing worry of her vision. She couldn't shed the anxiety in her gut their course skirted titanic danger and consequences. While Serco made reasonable observations and offered a compelling approach to their task, his lead chafed. There was something in his tone, in the way he assumed leadership, that made her scowl. She intellectually understood the source of her irritation, but it was difficult to get past.
She followed all the same and kept her distance. "I'll consult the bones once we are settled aboard.

Fortunately, Serco stopped to converse with the pilot and Litany scurried onward to ascend the gun cutter's loading ramp. The kitbag shuffled and clinked at her side as she hauled it inside and stowed the materiel. Sighing, Litany stepped back after clicking the hatch closed. She watched from atop the loading ramp as the others conversed with the pilot, wringing her hands. Images from her vision flashed before her eyes. The astartes fell and fell again to unseen assault. There were precious few details to place the moment in time or space.
Litany backed away to move deeper into the gun cutter and find somewhere private to contemplate the way of things.

I presume that we will board the ship now, thank you." And with that Serco boarded the shuttle, keeping far from Litany.

"Guiles it is" Sabathiel said cheerfully taking a quick glance towards the ship. Following his companions lead Sabathiel continued on to the shop. Gingerly removing the wrapped item from his back he placed it across his knees, his fingers tracing upon it. Thoughts of the events that transpired, the dangers of their mission danced around in his head. "Soon" Sabathiel whispered under his breath.

Everyone loads onto the gun cutter with no further incidents and prepare for launch. LeBeouf informs everyone to find a seat and he then begins final checks.
*Incoming communication* "This is Inquisitor Tollux, we have arranged for a mechanicus to join you. He is waiting for you on the Rogue Trader, you shall know him as Axiarch and he will assist you in any way that he can. Also your capable pilot LeBeouf will accompany you and lend his skills to the group. Once on planet you need to make contact with with Naela, she will get you anything you need once on planet. The 6 of you have been tasked with the bringing the light of the Emperor to the shadows of this forge world. See that you do not fail him.
The Emperor Protects."
*End Communication*
The Inquisitors voice rings through the gun cutter. The task is laid, and the goal known. With that the cutter lurches forward from its stationary position and follows the guide rail up and out of the fortified bunker. Within moments you're in open air with the ground below you shrinking quickly. You feel the shudder of atmosphere as you pass through the layers and then finally into space. The Rogue Trader begins to grown in size until it fills the entire view. After a short annoying exchange between LeBeouf and a servitor for landing privileges, access is granted and the cutter is allowed to land in the 2 cargo hold.
The cutter swings wide and enters the void barrier without incident and then lowers itself onto the old metal plating of the bay. A small procession has gathered and awaits for the acolytes to exit the cutter. 4 golden servitors, 12 honor guards in vibrant colors of orange and black with silver striping, and a rather large individual in old fashion clothes from the times of Terra. They stand at attention patiently waiting for their guests.

They stand at attention patiently waiting for their guests. Serco listened carefully to the message of the Inquisitor, giving the standard "The emperor protects."So we're going to be having a mechanicus join up with us. That's going to be rather useful, especially considering that the average cogboy is a mystery at best, and trying to kill a hab block for servitors at worst. Considering he probably has the bigger picture in mind what with his inquisitorial purview. He shook his head sadly. His thought process was suddenly interrupt by the sudden squawking of the radio as Lebeouf and some other entity rang from the cockpit. He redirected his attention to the plasteel Windows and was greeted by a void ship. This had been the second he had seen in such a short time, the former being the void ship he had seen when he had been taken from Amaryllis, in a sort of parallel tale to his first depar.... No it had been an escape, just as this one had been. The servitors had dragged out yet another body from the spire, this one less than a mangled body and more of a ground grox patty with bones, the cleaning servitor following behind with a cleaning formula used almost exclusively for the fabricated stone floors. It had nearly gone through three containers of it this month, the many bodies taken out of the spire leaving a mess.
Sercotani Soyer, peered from the column in the main hall with his solemn eyes. His mother had been in hysterics, her second heir leaving her in ever higher peaks and valleys for her emotions, his father acquiescing and denying her as he saw fit, his main attentions upon whatever lady of the night he could afford really. Sercotani Soyer wasn't to be attended to, and he certainly wasn't to be outside of his room at this moment, but none really saw him. He thought back to his last interaction with another child, a girl who was his cousin as he had been told, a girl that he was to try and become friendly with, and he could not shake the confusion from his mind as to why she had fainted and why she had disappeared for fainting. Those ships in the sky had taken her away and he had been scolded as he had deserved. Now the whole house was in a hubbub with the new child coming soon, the people with knives sneaking in to kill him, and the ever looming threat of people disappearing for those ships.Sercotani Soyer snapped from his otherwise occupied thoughts to the landing of the ship, as he saw what appeared to be the retinue of the ship walking forth alongside their master. He saw the side of the ship hissing, and he took in a deep breath before strutting out, his posture reminiscent of the parade posture he had been beaten into, taking a position in front of the rotund man with his hand in a tidy salute, all the while keeping his eyes down, and his head bowed in deference to who he perceived to be the master of this ship. "Sir!"

Lebeouf muttered "I never had to deal with this shit when I was in my Aquila Lander" under his breath when the servitor finally gave him permission to land the cutter. As the shuttles landing gear touched the metallic ground, LeBeoufs mind started to ponder as to why he was suddenly assigned to pilot a guncutter, was he to expect more passengers? Maybe the planet is much more hostile than he had thought? Nevertheless, he decided the answers were for another time as there were more important matters, such as the mission, and... maybe sending a complaint about an incompetent servitor.

Naela re-read the message she had received from Inquisitor Tollux again for what felt like the 100th time. Finally, some contact. She had been on this Emperor damned world for five weeks now with instructions to "Get ready", well she was ready. Or at least, as ready as she could be given she had no idea what was intended. But that is the way it goes and she had done as much as possible without drawing attention.
She had a new drinking buddy now, a younger guy in his forties who worked in the Administratum, and she had scouted out the transport hubs and learnt what she could about the Adeptus Mechanicus on this world. Which, if she admitted it, was diddly squat. The accommodation was ready for the rest of her "research groups" arrival, space for up to ten she had been told, and the cover stories were in place. This was not her first rodeo.
She touched the las pistol she had under her pillow and tried to mentally suppress the ever present noise from the manufactorums. Sleep was elusive while she was on a mission, but she was determined to be prepared.

Sabathiel knew that would work for the moment, but a more detailed recount of events would be necessary. Unfortuantly he hadn't the time as the ship docked. Who ever this was definatly definatly trying to make a impression. "The Emperor protects." Litany demurred whilst lowering her head and making the sign of the Aquilla. The words gave her solace as their mission sprawled before them. Danger awaited. She glanced to the left and to the right, taking in her fellow acolytes, heard their pilot negotiate approach vectors with the vessel overhead, and her stomach churned. Forewarned worry twisted her guts and she tasted copper on her tongue. Litany squirmed with growing unease and wrung her hands.
Then they were docking aboard the rogue trader's vessel; the metal landing struts clanged against the decking to reverberate through the gun cutter's interior. Litany closed her eyes as bile rose in her throat. Jaw clenched, she choked back the acidic burn and coughed into her hand. The others made to depart and Litany was slow to join them.
The cargo hold yawned above them, a sprawling chamber of vaulted arches and baroque ironwork. High-gain filament lamps glared in the recesses overhead to cast the space in the harsh light of artificial suns. Litany squinted as she emerged atop the loading ramp with kitbag over one shoulder.
She took in the assembly of servitors and honor guard arrayed from the loading ramp. No doubt their number was in deference to Inquisitor Tollux and his representatives, but Litany would have preferred to slink aboard without the fanfare. She was accustomed to the protocols of office by now and wore a smile she didn't feel.

The procession stands before you all and remains silent. The large man moves forward and meets the group exiting the cutter, his eyes darting back and forth quickly to each member and taking notes on everyone. He is well groomed and dressed for a man of his size, he carries himself with a aura of importance. He graciously bows to the group and slowly rises.
"Greetings!" comes a voice that sounds more augmented than real. "I am Captain Novola Gremuke, I humbly welcome you all to my fine ship. Please forgive my harsh voice, but I lost most of my voice box to a virulent plague on Sigma 8 Theta in the distal ring. Now i have been informed by your lord Inquisitor that you are to be in my charge until the completion of this mission. Therefore I here now in front of crew and the God-Emperor himself pledge my services and loyalty to you all. May you bring the Emperors light to the shadows of the Imperium."
He says these words in a booming majestic voice. The guards slam their heals together at attention and salute flawlessly. As the echo of Novola's voice dies down in the distant expanse of the hold he now speaks softly and personally,
"I have arranged individual quarters for you all, as well as your extra member who arrived before you did. I'm not quite sure where he is at the moment, but it shouldnt be difficult to find him. Is there anything else I can do to accommodate you at this time before I dismiss my men and I return to my duties?"
Menials move up in preparation for orders to take possessions to quarters at a moments notice.

Late to the procession, Axiarch enters the hanger from the back. He had been hard at work with various technical pieces of equipment around the ship. While this may not be his assigned vessel, the machine spirit must be appeased all the same. Upon hearing about the arrival of his new team members, he set himself towards the hanger, though with little purpose.
The thick blast door that separates the hanger from the rest of the void ship slowly slides open making a grinding noise as the cogs and mechanisms strains beneath tons of weight as the massive door gives way before Axiarch. No longer being impeded, Axiarch slowly makes his way towards the group. As he grows closer, the party begins to see some features of the approaching tech-priest. You see before you, a male with olive skin, mostly covered by long Mechanicus Robes. His face is all but covered by the hood of his robe, and you can not quite make out his facial features or his hair. Upon closer inspection, you see various tools and unknown items about his waist for easy access. You can easily assume that these are the tools of the Mechanicus' trade. Among this tech, however, unlike the rest of the humans in the hanger, you do not see a weapon on the Tech-priest. To the keen eye, you may also see the small vial that hangs around his neck on a piece of twine.
Greetings fellow Acolytes. My name is Axiarch, your new Tech-Priest.. Should you have any technical related questions, I suppose I am the man to ask. Among basic technical skill, I also have prowess in the maintenance and upgrade of various arms and armors. Should you require my service, and the Omnissiah wills it, I shall work on the team's gear.
While speaking, Axiarch scans his new teammates and attempts to discern their quality of their technical equipment, and if it's been taken care of or neglected.

Serco glanced at the Tech Priest who had presented himself before them, slowly judging him with a learned if oft deceived eye. He seemed to be one of the younger ones amongst the cult mechanicus, if for no other reason than the fact that he had not quite eschewed all of his skin nor gained far too much mechanical bulk. He didn't see any obvious weapons apart from his mechadendrites, not that that was any real relief. Serco still remembered the times that the local mechanicus had been subject to a raid by an arbites that he'd been training, due to the young Arbite neglecting to check with the mechanicus and being skewered by a mechadendrite and being promptly tossed aside like a ration pack bereft of its foul cargo. He nodded towards both the captain of the ship and the Mechanicus while he twiddled with his shock maul, not quite enjoying the stares of the Tech Priest. He mentally shrugged and thanked the welcoming captain with the standard ettiquite for ships before going forth to secure his quarters and to sleep.

Litany hefted the kitbag from her shoulder and let it clank to the decking. Flexing her fingers, the seer resisted the urge to wring her hands, instead clasping together. She returned the captain's bow and did well to show all deference to a man of his station. While he pledged his ship, amenities, crew, and loyalty to the Throne, he was still a Rogue Trader. The Writ of Warrant granted great leeway and greater power. Their passage was still with his favor.
"Thank you, Lord Captain." She met his eye. "Your hospitality is most appreciated." And expected. While just acolytes, they represented Inquisitor Tollux and the Holy Ordos. Assisting was in his best interest and no doubt the Rogue Trader would be rewarded handsomely for any inconvenience suffered during their passage. Cerix Magnus would be another beast.
Their Mechanicus liaison joined the party and introduced himself, Litany offered a gracious nod. She turned back to Captain Gremuke and introduced herself to both the captain and the other acolytes. "I am Litany Emiline." Her mannerisms were graceful and speech deliberate. She inclined her head again.
Leaving her kitbag for the serfs, Litany took a step towards the captain. "I require the services of your astropath once we are underway."
